M N Sharma Photography Award 2024

MN Sharma Architectural Society in collaboration with Chandigarh Lalit Kala Akademi takes immense pleasure in inviting photo entries for the MN Sharma Photography Award 2024. This year the theme for Photography contest is, “Life and Architecture".

The photography contest is being organised for the youth of Tricity, aged between 18-30 years.This competition invites photographers to capture the essence of Chandigarh- from it's geometric designs to it's lush green spaces, and the way these environments interact with the people who inhabit them.

We encourage participants to explore how life seamlessly integrates with architecture, from bustling markets and serene parks to quiet residential corners. Through this competition, the aim to highlight not just the aesthetic beauty of the city, but its vibrant human spirit. We look forward to your unique interpretations of this fascinating interplay of life and architecture.

Each participant may send a maximum of three photographs in JPG format in 18x24 inches size (colored/black and white) of high resolution in the google form. The entries will be judged by the eminent jury. The best entry will receive MN Sharma Photography Award 2024 with a citation and a Award of Rs. 25000/- Selected photographs will be showcased in the photography exhibition to be held in mid of December 2024. Copyright of selected entries will remain with MN Sharma Architectural Society & Chandigarh Lalit Kala Akademi. The decision of the jury will be final. The earlier winners can participate but they will not be entitled to the award.

The artists must send their original works with an undertaking in the prescribed Google form latest by 5th December 2024. A self-attested photocopy of Aadhar card or College ID card for the proof of address and age along with the prescribed Proforma should be submitted with the entry.
